ACNE is a non solicited skin trouble to tarnish your appearance and face value. You will feel you are taken for a ride of advice by others and quite embarrassing. Teen agers must note that beauty is skin deep and we must do adhere to advises given by elders.
Like lungs, skin breathes. So allow ample and free circulation of air where you work or live. Moisture from air can contaminate skin. So let the air be dried before you enjoy. Lot of air circulators for dry air is available or a good air conditioner or room conditioner will do by setting right temperature and humidity. Do not cover the skin with thick creams and make ups.
Avoid direct exposure to sun. Sun protection screens are available. Wherever you are, use them preferably. Take a lot of anti oxidants from your good food habits (like water melons, pumpkins, snake gourds etc.)
Tension or stress can activate formation of acne. Avoid tension and pressure. Best prevention is to do light exercises. Blood circulation must improve, to fight against bacteria. Or alternatively there are some yoga postures which can ward – off stress. Do them regularly. Keep off tension and bacteria.
Main Item is your food in take. Avoid oily / greasy food and deep fry items. They are the first culprits not only for acne, but also for cholesterol and sugar both joined will result in Blood Pressure or hypertension. When the trio is there one will be flat with heart problems. Next is junk food like pizzas – avoid them. It may be fashionable, but affects. So also avoid iodine rich food like sea food and iodized salt. Iodine is essential for up keep of thyroid glands – but with reasonable dosages. Any excess may show up as acne.
AVOID exposure to strong vapors. They are from kitchen / kitchen ware cleaning agents / toilet or bath room cleaning agents / work place. Vapors attack skin and dry them badly to start the itch. That is enough to keep one busy with acne!
During bathing do not use strong soaps and skin whiteners. They have strong chemical to start “the itch”. As a protection, apply a thin film of jojoba or tea tree or coconut oil, wash with carbolic soap and rinse thoroughly. Always non – chemical cleaners are best. You can try application of green gram powder with a little bit of soap nut powder. Consistent results are guaranteed. Skin cleansing is essential. Exfoliate with gentle scrubbing up to 4 times a week.
Prevention is better than cure. Always adhere to guide lines and advises from seniors.
