If you have ever had to treat nail fungus, you already know that they can be difficult to get rid of. Nail fungus happens when fungi infect one or more of your nails, causing them to thicken or become discolored. Many times, the nails will become extremely brittle and painful. In addition to being difficult to treat, these types of infections can also be quick to reoccur.
Some of the symptoms of a nail fungus include thickened, brittle or distorted nails, or nails which are dark in color. Nails may also occasionally separate from the nail bed. If you see any of these symptoms, you need to start treating the infection right away.
There are many different herbal treatments for nail fungus. One of the most popular remedies is to use tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and fungicide which has many different uses. For treating a nail fungus, there are several different ways of using tea tree oil. It can be applied straight to the nail, mixed with olive oil and applied (the olive oil helps it stay on the nail) or mixed with lavender oil and put under the edge of the nail a few times a day. Lavender can help prevent infection and skin irritation, so combined with the antiseptic properties of tea tree oil, it makes a powerful treatment.
Another method of treating nail fungus is to use a combination of warm water and apple cider vinegar. Vinegar has been used for hundreds of years as an antiseptic and is also believed to have antifungal properties. To use it for a nail fungus, first soak the nails in equal parts warm water and vinegar for 15-20 minutes. When done, make sure you dry your nails thoroughly, as fungi multiply rapidly in warm, wet environments. Using a hair dryer on a low setting can help remove all the moisture from your nails.
Another herb which has both antiseptic and antifungal properties is oregano. Mixing a few drops of oregano oil with olive oil and applying to the affected nails may clear up the infection. There are a few other natural oils which have antiseptic properties. One of those is lemongrass. If you can find lemongrass oil, applying it directly to the nail often starts fighting the fungus immediately.
In addition to these treatments, you may want to consider your diet as well. If you are suffering from any type of fungus, it’s a good idea to include more probiotics in your diet. Probiotics are considered to be the “good” bacteria and are found mainly in yogurt.

EXPOSURE to strong vapors, direct sun rays, winter and chemicals – All cleaning agents (Both Office and Home) and detergents and body soaps carry chemicals of high intensity to gentle chemical re agents which act on to skin from severity to gentle actions. But leaves skin dry and outer surface becomes fragile. Scrubbing adds to very bad effects – so avoid scrubbing.
Any cleaning, agent on reaction with dirt and water volatiles is emanated. Every one wears a mask and protects against inhalation. What about skin. It is exposed! Such volatiles react with skin surface leaving them dry and fragile. So before embarking to such severe exposure, apply coconut or olive oil on skin and take up. Protection will be there to certain extent.
Sun rays contain ultra violet and infra red rays. These rays are capable of penetrating skin and burn it. Skin gets dried up and starts itching and irritating. And so the skin trouble starts.
Winter coolness is enjoyable, but its mist combined with spine chilling wind can erode the skin making it dry and flake. So avoid such exposure before going out to enjoy cool wind.
Strong vapors of cooking oils and gas flame will not spare from attack. Same bad effects as mentioned above. But can be avoided by fitting an exhaust fan or chimney. Please protect your skin by suitable methods to strong exposures
Prevention is better than cure. When you are preventive question of curing do not arise!
Over the past decade or two, facial plastic surgery procedures have seen a sharp rise in popularity. Once only reserved for the rich and famous, today people from all type of backgrounds are getting rhinoplasty, cheek implants, eye lifts, and other facial cosmetic surgeries. But just how safe are these procedures?
Well truth be told, they are usually considered to be relatively safe. That being said, there are still a large number of patients that end up with bad plastic surgery. Even under the care of the most skilled plastic surgeons, it’s still possible to end up with undesirable results. For example, cheek implants are a very popular procedure, but most patients complain afterwards that they don’t look very natural. This is usually because the wrong sized implant is used. Even some of the top plastic surgeons in the world are known to do bad cheek augmentation.
Fortunately cheek implants are reversible, but other procedures like rhinoplasty are not. The number of patients that end up with bad nose job is astonishing. Because of this, you should think long and hard about whether you truly want rhinoplasty. Even the top surgeons in the world are known to regularly do bad rhinoplasty.
Another common problem with facial plastic surgery is over-correction. Whether it’s a face lift or ear pinning surgery , sometimes the surgeon goes overboard and does too much correction. Unfortunately these procedures are usually irreversible (however ear pinning surgery is sometimes reversible if only sutures are used to pin the ears back).
So in summary, facial plastic surgery is usually safe when performed by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon. However just because it’s safe, it doesn’t mean the results will always be good.
